I am a British writer living in Cambridge with my husband and two teenagers. In my twenties I had three ‘chicklit’ novels published by Piatkus books; Nine Months, Marry Me and Written in the Stars. My books were also published in Australia, Russia, Norway, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Serbia.
After my third book was published I took a break from writing and home-educated my son for a while, I trained a guide dog, started an online craft business and began an english degree with the Open University. I wrote a children’s book called The Dream Theatre, which was published as an e-book by Blackbird Digital, and when my son was settled back in school I wrote my fifth book, a YA novel called The Howard Objective.
Now I enjoy writing both women’s contemporary fiction and YA. I work part time as a project manager for a local charity and have more hobbies than there are hours in the day. I love getting outdoors, either cycling, walking my dog Edith, or running (badly). I also enjoy taking photos of wildlife, cooking (I used to be a chef), crafting, running our local community orchard project or hiding indoors with a good book and a bag of posh crisps.
